Boring, boring City

I don't care what anyone says, we weren't unlucky against Wolves & Sunderland. They were both all over us in the 2nd half.

So you think Tevez missing that open goal should be discounted? That last minute penalty? 10 men for 85 mins against Arse? Or that Hart Howler? Boyata tonight?

Its like when there's negative stories in the press most blues will say its bollox but when its a positive story it must be true. When we win its lucky but when we lose luck's got nothing to do with it and we're crap. Depends on what you want to believe really.
Have you even watched the games? Every game has missed chances, sometimes sitters, every team has bad games but we've had 10 games and played well in 3 in my opinion. That's a bit disappointing. Should'ves and could'ves are irrelevant if the performance is sub-par throughtout the match. As I've said it's no good having all these great players then just hoping that we make less mistakes than the other team! We should be playing a better level of football and we just aren't.

Your talking about human error, on general play this season we've been very disappointing barring the odd game.

Well luck plays out on the pitch through human error doesn't it? The ref's ''error'' allowed Tevez's goals to stand against Blackpool just as it did for the penalty against Newcastle. I thought we played well against Sunderland but still lost.

In all honestly, we cant have played that well if we didnt score.

some of our football at times is great we just don't do it enough.

We seem to be very slow in the build up and yes i would like it to be a bit quicker and more attractive - who wouldn't.

What i take into consideration is that Silva is only just starting to play and the other players need to adjust and get on his wave lengh. Also Ballo / Kolorov are just coming into the team and need some time to adapt. They are also still learning about each other and the way the manager wants to do things.

Anyone who judges Ballo on his first game is an idiot - you only have t go back and look at Henry and drogba in their first season.

I will wait to se what formation Mancini plays when everyone is properly fit. Also most posters say Johnson should be in the team but look at tonight he needs to contribute a bit more and work harder when not in possession
I agree with all your post especially this ^

Great post OP and tomhawley BTW.

By that logic we played absolutely brilliantly against Blackpool because we scored three times, Newcastle as well.

We are playing boring Italian tactical shite and the premier league have worked us out, agree with everything the OP says and he didn't say Hughes was better just we are playing boring football, play breaks down 90% of the time with the same players when the ball go's to them you know they will not have the control, distribution or pace to handle the situation, no point in naming names, as we all know who they are.
Re the Opera House comment, do you not want to be proud of the style of play we play I was brought up on City = attacking entertaining football and if we do lose fuck it next game please
