Boris Johnson admitted to hospital - now discharged

There are some people in this country, not following the government's advice regarding how to behave during this outbreak, of that there is no doubt, but I'm also in no doubt that not one of them cites their hatred of Boris Johnson as the motivating factor.
I didn't say hatred. Some people dont listen to him because they dont respect him, in my opinion. The amount of people who cant post get well messages to him on social media without using the phrase "I don't like him but..." is staggering.

Whether you like a prime minister or not should never even come into a conversation at a time like this.

Ok so 3 weeks ago then.

Forgive me but time doesnt exist for me right now!

No worries.

I'm no fan of this government but I'm following their advice and yes I want Johnson to get better, but history is being re-written faster than it can be rebutted by the facts. The right wing media and the right wingers in here, are accusing anyone they don't like of playing politics with this virus, all the time playing politics with it themselves.

The fact that Johnson is ill does not make him a saint and it doesn't mean he was doing a top notch job before he fell ill, he wasn't and the facts bear that out, and against a tide of right wing propaganda it is essential we remember that, so we don't forget to learn the right lessons from this shit show when it's over.

Give it a fucking rest!

Yes he should. He is the prime minister and leader of the country, why do people seem to think that means nothing.

The NHS should treat everyone the same. The founding principles were that services should be comprehensive, universal and free at the point of delivery.

Boris is never gonna make sainthood! In such circumstances, a magician with foresight to benefit from hindsight(?) would have been hard pressed to do a 'top notch' job! There are sufficient who think that had the death rate from Coronavirus been kept at absolute zero, they wouldn't have credited Boris with any part of it!

The whole family had this over Xmas....it was constant hard coughing 24/7 (save for a few hours when sleep was possible) over the course of t least two weeks with massive lethargy. I think lots had this and probably way before CV hit the shores (and my son was the only one not showing symptoms and also the only one who had the flu jab).
Sorry in advance if I've missed something.

If the only one not showing symptoms was the one who'd had the flu jab, then wouldn't it be more likely that you all had the flu?

I'd like to think I'd have been able to applaud him, at least a little, in such circumstances.

Sadly we'll never know.
