Sounds like it's just a precautionary measure, and if Downing Street are saying that he'll still be running the country then presumably his condition isn't too serious at the moment.

Tbf, this (hopefully) is a precautionary measure.

We (the country) HAVE to make sure that those that matter (even if this doesn't comply with people's political /non monarchist beliefs) survive in times of crises. It promotes stability to ALL subjects.

i agree with you,most hospitals are sending people home that dont need to be there,unless you are seriously ill,the hospital i work in is very quiet and some wards even closed tempory

You may be right. He was diagnosed some time ago (10days ?) and if he hasn't shaken it by now it would indicate that the virus has got a good foothold.

Can't abide the man but I wish him all the best and a full recovery.

I'm not sure how much harder they can work on any individual to get them through. It's a pivotal moment for sure.
