Boro fan in family stand

We don't have the fan base to fill the stadium for every game so this issue of away fans in the home ends will only get worse when the North stand is expanded.
I'm sure the club are aware.

really?, what's our capacity and our average gate?, despite the £30 away prices thecsway end hasn't been filled for every game this season, despite the reduction City fans have been in the away section of SS3.

What is the general conduct for away fans in the home end?
I always assumed this was largely frowned upon but having read this thread, my opinion has changed.

I've went to games with the intention of doing so in the past but always been fortunate enough to get a ticket last minute outside the away end.
I think quietly taking the game is more than acceptable, but how far does that stretch?
Can you contest decisions?
Can you celebrate?
Personally, I'd be worried I was disrespecting the home fans around me.

some of the boro fans where awful, dont get why fans would jump up and down celebrating the fact we had hit the post !

Why where boro fans in other areas of the stadium when their own end didnt sell out ?

I bumped in to two half pissed fans walking back to the car, couple of dicks they where, told them to go home.

On the other hand further up the road bumped into two boro fans that where great and chatted about the game and they said stadium was nice.

Didn't hear a peep out of them until they scored. The fans next to me celebrated like they had won the League/Cup/Olympics all in one. There were a couple of 'tough' looking kids offering every City fan in view a fight - from behind the stewarding line. Proper embarrassing fan base.

we used to do the same though. i still go crazy when we score no matter who the opposition.
