Boro Post Match thread

Not at all surprised after Sunday/Thursday/Early Sunday fixtures.

Nothing was going to fix the almighty problems we have in key positions.

Worst manager we have had since Hughes.

Cannot hack it in a competitive league.

Arrogant. Disinterested. Clueless. Overrated.

Poor in every aspect of his role - coaching, the transfer market, motivation, communication, tactics, game management.

Anybody who cannot see it is blinded by his cool factor and celebrity status within the game.

I'll probably get a ban for this but I don't care. I care more about what is best for city than I do what is best for sensitive blind sycophants on a football forum.

We HAVE to get rid. He's ruining the entire club.

A bit extreme but the question should be asked what the he'll has happened after the first 10 games of the season?
And as I keep mentioning we are arguably worse than we were under MP this time last season.

The first half was.... uhm, weird...... I liked that we got to see Aleix play. Besides the amount of free kicks we should've had and didn't get, two handballs by boo, Foreshaw second yellow, boro having three players in the lead up to their second goal, the ref was okay... SMH...

Guess the script was set when the rags drew against swansea.

Lost to the worst Arse side in years

Can't beat the worst rag side in years

Drew with the worst Smoggies in years

Football is a simple game. Is Pep getting too smart arsed for our own good ?

Inexplicable.

It was an exciting watch at times if nothing else.

Seriously, first 45 mins to completely forget but much better with the needed changes in the 2nd half.

Thank fuck for Gabby who is going to be a star and its another of those performances that nails the coffin lids shut on quite a few players and not before times.

Luckily the rags are also poor and its not changed much league position wise but lets just get this season done with and hopefully a summer clear out and rebuild.

Ffs, go and take a lie down. He made a mistake first half, corrected it at the start of the 2nd and we salvaged something from the game. I'm sure he'll shoulder some of the blame for not taking the 3 points but at least he changed it!

Barely saw the second half thanks to streams being shit.
Aguero groin injury wouldn't be a disaster because Jesus probably works better on his own up there.
Boro played like cnuts and were lucky to keep 11 men on the field.

I know he scored the penalty and crossed for the equaliser, but the key moment in the second half was when we were four against two, just after the penalty, and Aguero chose to leather it off a Boro arse rather than pass. That was the only time we had clear numbers and space in the second half.

I question Pep's choices but he changed it up and saved a point so there you go, good manager.

Our midfield needs sorting. Now.

theres just no way we can complain about the ref today, that dive from sane was as bad as rashfords

Curates egg that performance, One thing to note Gabby had no service whatsoever gets one chance and buries it that is Superstar quality

Kev had a proper battling game, felt sorry for Garcia just couldn't get involved, Navas well he's a better right back than winger/wingback and that's the kindest thing I can say

It's surprising but I thought Pep was a motivator of men , that was fucking terrible out their tonight - some of those players are the darlings he's bought? They don't seem to be playing for him and that's the big worry more than anything.
The only players out there that he bought were the goalscorer and the winner of the penalty.

The masters at playing the ball sideways and shit defending in the 6 yard box when it really matters. How many chances did we have to clear that ball before their 2nd goal? KDB not yet ready to run a game in that position. He doesn't retain possession in the way Silva and Toure can and he's not tough enough to mix it in the centre of midfield.

Imagine being told 'I will give you 8 million pounds if Navas gets an assist in the next 3 premier league games'

He's not the man for the job, tries to be clever with his smart arse line ups, makes mistake after mistake & gets away with it because of his name, I have no faith in him whatso ever & wouldn't hand him a penny more to prove how great he is . ( awaits ban for telling it how it is )
You was on the match thread calling out the officials for more cheating? Is the game bent or is it all Pep's fault? It cannot be both.
