Benji needs the ball into feet, much better player if the service is there.

Boyata is having a good game, few good headers, excellent tackle on Bent in the box. Passing looks a bit off but Boro are working hard in midfield and making it difficult to pick a pass.

Vladi needs to get at the full backs alot more, using his pace and skill to cause carnage. Showed a few glimpses of what he can do but this is definitely a chance to show Mancini what he's all about.

Hopefully Mancini will leave Bellers, Barry and Tevez on the bench, keep them fresh for Wednesday.

Boro will come at us now, open up and we should be able to pick them off.

Terrible conditions against a team out to impress. Can't argue with the way it's going, even if it's not the pretty free flowing football we'd like to see.

commentators dont have a clue, think boyata is getting unfairly slated, you'd think were getting beat 4-0 by the negativity were getting of the commentators

Commentators have decided for some reason that since it's Boyatas debut he's shitting himself and our weakest link, complete bollocks really, they're willing him to fuck up.

The reality being that he has had an excellent debut.

City reserves have contained them easily, no threat from Boro, patient play by City as the extra bit of class will tell in the end, as it did.
No mention of why we put out a "puzzling" team. Ie injuries/ACN and semi final.
Knocking Boyotta at every opportunity when i think he has done well.

Even now, with a 2nd string, i can see we have a much better shap definsivly than we had.

Was it Boyata that made a solid challenge to set up the move? he is having a very good game i reckon.

Yea, he did well to see the fdanger and egt across in position to make the tackle before the ball was actually played to the guy that he tackled.

I think Nige is doing well keeping things ticking in the middle as usual. Petrov looking threatening at times, Weiss looks skilful but still very raw and naive with his movement.

We played the ball around nicely at times in the first and hopefully we can pick em apart and get another.
