Oh yes I was! Think its going to become a new lucky omen/ritual from now on.Oh no you weren’t. I was thinking please dont let Mahrez take it.
I saw it that he left his arm out as an insurance policy so to speak so the ball didn’t go past him , clear pen for me and that’s without blue tinted specs on ;-).That doesn’t even allow any interpretation or judgement call. It should NOT have been a penalty! But who cares :)
We were brilliant first half controlled the game passed them to death they were out on their feet, allowing us to totally dominate the 2nd halfthe first half was a nightmare one of the worst, but the second half was already good, the tactical change was good from Pep too
Not even up for debate, it SHOULD definitely have been a penalty and we were definitely good for the win in that game.It is an offence if a player:
The above offences apply even if the ball touches a player’s hand/arm directly from the head or body (including the foot) of another player who is close.
- deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, including moving the hand/arm towards the ball ...
- touches the ball with their hand/arm when:
- the hand/arm has made their body unnaturally bigger...
Except for the above offences, it is not an offence if the ball touches a player’s hand/arm:
- directly from the player’s own head or body (including the foot)
