Fantastic win, turning the match. The great performance we needed to overcome our QF paranoia and get the monkey off our backs.

Lots of discussion in Germany about the penalty, or much more about the interpretation of the rule wording, but no doubts about City being impressive winner of the tie with big chances vs PSG.

Credits to Marco Reus just post match when he said about the pen, "being honest we would claim a penalty on the other side of the pitch." Good bloke.

In contrast, Didi Hamann in the Sky Germany studio turned out to be the wildest Dortmund fan, ranting about a scandalous ref performance. Talking lots of bollocks.

Thought we wore them down after they scored we just stepped it up after that.
I noticed before they scored we were not playing our usual press when they had the ball.

For me it proves that Pep did the right thing on Saturday resting most of the players.

The icing on the cake would have been Raheem Sterling scoring right at the end when he had that chance.

Get to my pub at 11:48 Pacific time to find no televisions working. Owner had just reopened indoor dining (though had outdoor), and had shut off satellite service to save money and wasn’t planning on turning it on again until indoor capacity was 50 percent. Darke is a complete tosser but I personally find Jenas a bit bland but completely inoffensive.
