I'd have a standard back 4 for this, and Bernardo alongside Rodri, we need his energy in midfield to stop their counters and get us moving. let gundogan/kdb alternate between the false 9 roles with mahrez and foden on the flanks.

Keep it compact at the start, play keep ball first half and tire them out as they get more desperate and more tired we can pick them off, if we get a goal it's over, they'll have to score 3.

Big game for Pep tactically, game management is key to this. do not throw this away.

Yes he is the reason they are out. Its not scapegoating its watching the game and seeing him cost them goal after goal.

I just dont trust ourselves to go behind and win. of course draw could be enough too, but at this stage of CL in last couple of years we rarely got the result we needed.

Score first and and just control the game (dont leave big spaces behind to run into), best for city and best for the heart rate too.

also no cheaply given away balls in the middle to catch us out with a counter.
