Agreed. For the last third of the game we were extremely sloppy .

We were poor last season, no doubt, but I'm speaking specifically about us playing it out from the back, which at times tonight, we simply couldn't do. It was never that bad under Ederson.

For 65 minutes that was a very good performance, but then we seemed to get a bit complacent and switched off and Dortmund for 15 to 20 mins caused us problems.

I thought Foden was immense tonight and I love the way he seems to caress the ball into the net. Doku put in another impressive show and caused Dortmund problems all night.

Messi listed as Psg player etc. Probably the last teams they played or scored in cl.

Just because I think Savinho didn't do well at all doesn't mean you should judge that i shouldn't watch football

So glad we've stopped dropping our pants with that insane high line and surprise surprise - we are looking really good and also dangerous on our own counters as well.

2 brilliant fullbacks and a bossing keeper. Wonderful.

He's great coming in off the right, played there a lot for Lyon, played on the right on Sunday and Bournemouth didn't have a scooby how to deal with how fluid City were with Cherki and Foden's movement from the right hand side of our attack.
 
Good performance on the whole against a very energetic but very limited side.

Some lovely goals and some class performances.

If we’d really wanted to put in a full performance like that first hour we’d have scored about 7 tonight. But, like Villarreal away, the last half hour was just an energy saving exercise… we didn’t need to do much more.

Phil deserves his song belting out in the stands, it’s disrespectful to him that we don’t sing it.

Savinho did make things happen - created two shots for Haaland & Foden that had to be saved, caused his FB to be carded and I'm fairly sure it was his driving with the ball that precded both the first goal as well.

I'm more than happy to praise Cherki, but Savinho also caused Dortmund problems.
