Borussia Mönchengladbach travel thread

We fly easyjet gatwick to dussledorf out tuesday aft back thu evening.

Doing one night at the Alt Dusseldorf then one night at Dorint Parkhotel Monchengladbach. £125pp all in, more than happy with that.

Found the double header worked well when we did Dortmund away, Duss old town was a cracking night out.
Also staying in Alt Düsseldorf Tuesday night. Stayed there before and been to Düsseldorf many times. It's right next to a big Irish boozer called Fattys. Guy that runs it is huge football fan. Good choice

No you're not!
I've had to change the booking to a different hotel now because you couldn't make your bloody mind up.
We'll be in Dortmund on the Tuesday and Monchengladbach on match night.
You been to Dortmund on a Tuesday night? Düsseldorf or cologne far better choices

Managed to get man Dus via Heathrow using avios going out Tuesday, back cologne man Thursday for €109. Two nights in alt Düsseldorf for €90. All in all not bad

I've heard that travel to the ground is included. We are flying into Cologne, will the ticket allow for the train to Mönchengladbach?

I think Cologne is just a little too far, i.e. dusseldorf is fine you can get the train or S8 from the train station but that is because it is only about 23 miles away, Cologne being further just puts it out of what they call local.. I may be wrong but I don't think so
