I've saw from Mochengladbach. I'm pretty sure there's return trains to Dusseldorf at 12am and 1am German time.

Buses from Stadium to MGB station then several late trains back to Dusseldorf. When going back there from Dortmund I caught the last one by the skin of my teeth and the bloody efficient German shite broke down in Bochum lol !
