That was brilliant it really was. We controlled the game perfectly and apart from that brain fart from rodders at the end we utterly demoralized then. That gives me a lot of confidence we are now in a position to actually win this competition, something I’ve never really felt before.

Good win but cannot help thinking that we are a bit pedestrian in attack - with our dominance of the match we should have got a couple more goals. Maybe if/when Kun gets back up to speed we will start burying teams.

Well controlled, we don’t seem to be expending loads of energy at the moment by controlling games so well, so not the fireworks of previous years but we are more solid. I would like us to really put an attacking display on at the weekend though. Get in blue boys

Comfortable performance and win but the level of comfort doesn't reflect in the result. its an excellent result but its hard not to think it could have been more and the tie should be over beyond doubt.

We played within ourselves slightly too much. It's fine doing that in the league with a 10 point gap to rest on but in knockout football you need to be in top gear throughout if you expect to go far. sloppy second half mainly from Rodri(twice) that a team like Bayern probably score 2 from. that can't happen in future rounds.
