Win or bust last ditch chance for the German team. This will be their Cup Final. Could help us though. They will have to throw the kitchen sink at us and we could pick them off on the counter.

Not sure if Kompany can play given his concussion. If he can then

------------------Bravo
-----Stones---Kompany---Kolarov
----------------Fernandinho
----Navas----KDB ---Silva--Sterling---Clichy
------------------Aguero

Navas and Clichy dropping deep to protect defence when required.

Can't see anything but a full strength team:

Bravo
Sagna
Stones
Otamendi
Kolarov
Dinho
De Bruyne
Silva
Sterling
Nolito
Aguero

One more good result should see us there imo and there is no doubt pep wants to try and win the champions league while here.

Is Gundogan injured? I cant see why Pep would have left him out yesterday if he wasnt planning to play him at BMG. Gundogan, Stones and, to a lesser extent, Silva are surely the biggest certainties to play?

lol.

You really are a fruitbat, Marv.

How on earth did you sit there and dream that line up and formation?

Gundy and john were tired yesterday, pep said they weren't injured

Considering we've not qualified as yet, I don't see why you think we will do anything other than go full strength on Weds. Our owners have made it quite clear over the last few years where our priorities are.

Just think it will take a pretty remarkable sequence of results for us not to qualify from the group now. The results in the last round of games have given us a bit more freedom and flexibility with the team selection on Wednesday.

I'm not sure about that. If that was the case you'd have thought he wouldn't have risked the likes of Fernandinho, Aguero, and De Bruyne yesterday.

Presumably he won't want anyone, other than Bravo, playing three games in seven days (especially after an international break).

It is possible, of course, that none of the aforementioned players will start against Burnley but it seems unlikely. I think a few could be benched on Wednesday.
Can onlY see him going full strength midweek but Pep keeps proving me wrong on a weekly basis.

Looking at the groups it might be better off if we finish second!!!
Obviously all that could change mind.

Its a tricky one, a draw would be fine. But if Barca were to slip up against Celtic we might regret not going for it in this game. I think win this and we are qualified and can rest players against Celtic in the run up to a bust December, unless we still have the chance to top the group.

It would be very typical city for all the results to go the wrong way,you know it will happen lol
