I have no interest in what the man has to say, I think that's the first time I've heard his comments after a game. I have no connection with Mark Hughes at all, and that's his problem. He has the personality of a rock, no affectionate qualities about him, no appeal and that's why the fans don't want him there.
Every manager we've had has had some sort of endearing quality about them, even people like Frank Clark and Phil Neal had a sort of misfit charm about them.
But not, Hughes is just a robot. I don't expect to hear a reaction after games like this, because he just strings together sentences of tripe. I don't want a Keegan-style rant, but yeah, as people have said, once in a while if only he'd just come out and say "Well, that was poor. I'm sorry people had to watch that", which plenty of managers have said in the past.
Plenty of fans left at half time out of boredom. The Santander fans we met were shocked at how bad we were, for some reason, Hughes doesn't see it!
