Last night was devastating. As what losing to United in the Carling Cup and Stoke in the FA cup with little more than a whimper. I would have prefered 4-0 spurs but us walking off that field having given everything we have and once again we didnt. No one is denying we have improved thats obvious but likewise no-one can deny we have bottled every game that REALLY mattered this year. You think Chelsea give a shit we took 6 points off them? Will it matter to us in the future? Do you get a trophy for being better? NO!
Lets stop making excuses as well for wankers like Adebayor. He doesnt give a shit - has to go. Bridge, no wonder his bird shagged Terry he has no balls. SWP wants a raise? He had 10 mins to bust a gut thats all he had to do, he couldnt even do that. Bellamy, if we are relying on him and hero worshipping a guy who spouts off week to week in the papers but then doesnt deliver when it matters then that says it all. His fault the goal last night, couldnt be arsed when he gave the ball away to get back.
I hope Mancini has time to buy his players, if they are all like Johnson we will improve undoubtedly but for fuck sake buy someone with bottle who knows how to win. Spurs just wanted it more than the over payed, over hyped individuals in blue who let down the likes of Fulop, Kompany, and De Jong who actually realised last night could have changed MCFC forever.

No mate its not Kevin. Im a blue fed up of false dawns, who will continue to support club but who expects players to play for the shirt they are privileged to be wearing

I take your point, Bondsman, about not delivering in the really big matches this season. It was a sickener, coming on top of the Carling Cup disappointments and the most recent derby game. It's hard to take, being on the losing side in the very fixtures we were the most desperate to win. It would be easier to take if just one of those ties went our way (I don't count the first leg S/F as a win, more like a prolonged defeat. The great teams win those kinds of games. But we are a good side compared to most and we have plenty to build on.

Spot on, City need to come out of the bigger games the winners...It's a fookin no brainier, but that's what they need to do.

What I cant get over is if we had won last night and drawn against West Ham then we would have been in a position to buy genuinely class players Torres, Villa, Schweinsteiger, Maicon, these players will ONLY come if we can offer the trophies and CL. The future is obviously better than it has ever been but it pisses me off that we are another year away atleast from being able to buy the players that will let us really start winning things. I dont want more nearly players I want winners who would bleed for city same as any proper fan would for free. I dont want a player to sign for us for money we will end up with more scum like Adebayor, I want hungry players who come because they want to be regarded as playing for a great team that WINS big games and trophies. Consider we go head to head now with Spurs for a player (just say Gerrard) theres no contest where he will go. Its not wrong or short sighted to demand success, its necessary to become great.
