Maybe, the bouncers have faced similar or worse experiences before where random "tough" blokes take a swing at them or worse and finally snapped? So, unless any of them have priors, I'd be surprised if there's any jail time. A sh*t load of community service looks the most obvious route and that's only cos one of those two lads swung first.
'Self defence' is a legitimate call, in that case. And the second kid swung too, so that's also 'self defence'.
However, one would ahve to look at excessive violence being used.
I do not condone anything of what the sh*t bags did and I hope they, their former employers and the night club get sued for the use of excessive violence.
Doubt that they'll lose the licence given how quick they were to sack off the security crowd, who were 3rd party.https://democracy.manchester.gov.uk/documents/s2986/Factory Summary Review.pdf

Court will probably make them close on NYE or something as a punishment.Well suspended. I enjoyed their Facebook post “
In light of recent events, we have taken it upon ourselves to close tonight. We believe that getting a new door team such last minute, will not give us a chance to ensure they are the best for our customers. We must take the time to find the correct door team that will provide the best service to our customers.
Sorry about any inconvenience caused.”
