Why were they attacking him so violently? Had the lad done something really bad to generate that kind of response? Not saying its right as they are in a position of authority and responsibility, but would be good to know why they attacked him.

He went for the one who knocked his mate out, it seems. I don’t think anyone thinks the pair weren’t being dickheads through beer, they obviously were. It’s the utter violence aimed at the one who goes in though. Totally uncalled for. You would expect them to be trained in handling situations like that as its surely a very common occurance. Thankfully its been highlighted and they will be dealt with as i imagine this kind of thing goes on all the time and clubs / door staff normally close ranks and brush it under the carpet.He went for the one who knocked his mate out, it seems. disgusting video and very hard to watch. I hope this lad sues these cowards and the nightclub also sues them also for lose of business and affect on their club. If any of them have a 1 or 2 convictions then this could be the final nail. Not a great view for nightlife in Manchester.

I have no idea why anyone is shocked at this video. Happens with door staff the world over. Give someone a bit of authority and power...
Had this on Saturday night. Saw a woman in a wheelchair with her husband pushing standing 10ft from a raised disabled platform at a gig. When I asked why they weren't in the disabled area I was told the bouncer told them it was full, which it plainly wasn't.
Jobsworth. He only let them in when I got a member of the event to have a word. Even then he kept giving me dirty looks.

We have been spun the line that the days of the "bouncer" has passed, all door personnel with a badge on their arm have been trained on situation management and the scenes seen in that video will not be seem again. Obviously all BS, their employer and Factory should face the full weight of the law, assuming it still has some teeth.
