Bournemouth (A) - FA Cup | Post Match Thread

Tough 1st half and we looked crap no point claiming otherwise. Second half subs made the difference and playing the fullback high which begs the question as to why we don’t start this way?

He needs to trust the kids to be able to step up.

Delighted with another semi. Can’t have enough
The old ones are the best.
I’ve still given it a Like.

Agree with you about 2nd half, but in that first half I still retained confidence we’d score for some reason. Thought we looked hungry.

It was Me. He took off last month's player of the month because he was on a yellow. O Reilly shouldn't have to come on , he has impressed every time he's had a chance this season. Pep got the starting 11 wrong for the umpteenth time this season. And while it wasn't the worst first half this season , it was far to pedestrian with a host of passengers. To his credit he got a much better response second half when we played more direct and used O'Reillys pace out wide. Phil need to be dropped, he offers nothing this season and a central pair of gundog and kovacic is asking for trouble. Thought Kev was on it and pressed brilliantly. While my choice of words may not have been appropriate (I have a soft spot for khusanov) I still feel Peps stubburness is hindering us. Think Gvardiols future is midfield.
Never been interested in what you say, your one of the very worst on here for negativity and constant pathetic slagging of City players and the manager. I’d call you a shit fan but whatever you are you ain’t a fan. Pathetic

Far better 2nd half when the changes were made, which says the starting eleven was wrong again which we all could see. The big concerns for me at present are Foden, Kev, Gundo and Bernardo. I'd play only two out of those four together in any one match, adding Kovacic into the mix as well was just bonkers. Maybe Pep is just saying to these older lot, come on who's deserving of a new contract here, if not it doesn't make any sense persisting with them all in the same team.

And Nico O'reilly has to start on Wednesday now, if Pep doesn't start him there will be a lot of pissed off blues

I thought the Newcastle win would have told us about full backs wide out up the pitch, but apparently not (yet). It helps us play at a much better tempo.

No I’m not of a gentle position, but dickheads pathetically slagging off the team and the manager are knicker wetting shit cunts. Defend them all you like but that’s exactly what they are
Fuck me, grow a pair.

Reilly good second half

You don't know why he took off Khush,.
Guardiola has won more football trophies than most of us have had hot meals.
Doubtless he gets things wrong occasionally, he's a human and everyone does
But if you think you know better I suggest you look up the Dunning-Kruger effect.
