When the ball goes to Doku there is no end productBig question for me is why have the goals dried up?

The result flatters us. That second half they overwhelmed us physically.Great result but fucking hell we have lost the ability to bury teams haven’t we? 3 goals in the last 3 games and we just look so pedestrian! So frustrating how poor we have been for half a season, Erling needs to get back in the goals properly and we need to start hitting the goal trail as the dippers and the arse are scoring 4-5 a game the last few weeks and the dippers certainly have a load of injuries. Are the lads knackered already or is Pep holding us back?
Could easily have lost. Only Bournemouth's dire finishing prevented it. Has it been Liverpool we'd have conceded 2 or 3 seconds half at least.Could easily have drawn that so grateful for the win but we need to start scoring more.
Saving them for the rags next week.Big question for me is why have the goals dried up?
The lads are human - not robots. We've played more games than any other side - more intense games as well - travelling round the world collecting two trophies - those games were tough. Hard though Bournemouth made life for us with their hard work especially second half - with us not at capacity - we deserved the win however you look at the stats - especially the important one - goals scored. The result flatters us. That second half they overwhelmed us physically.
There was no end product before he came on- he just continued the dross we were playing up frontWhen the ball goes to Doku there is no end product
Cudda, wudda, shudda. If we want to review our performance on that basis we 'shudda' scored a few more. We had more 'shuddas' than Bournemouth.Could easily have lost. Only Bournemouth's dire finishing prevented it. Has it been Liverpool we'd have conceded 2 or 3 seconds half at least.
Arsenal/Liverpool are on their limit. We have gears still to go through. For all the Eddie haters AGAIN he's making crucial important saves.
Obviously having jonny stones back is also assisting with the cleansheets.
Foden is world class and showed it again tonight.
My only negative is how poor we are at corners especially after watching Arsenal keep scoring from them.
Keep the faith CTID
Apart from his slip Ake had a solid game against a tricky opposition. Admittedly his throw ins were rubbish. That winger (semeyo?) is pretty good. Ake
Kept him relatively quiet
I'm aware. It was the best thing he did all matchIn the 86th minute Bernardo intentionally fouled a Bournemouth player and took his yellow. He knew a dangerous counter attack was brewing and it may be one of the last opportunities for them to score. A savvy veteran move by him.
Well, he’s not started either of the last 2 games so hardly down to him recently. When the ball goes to Doku there is no end product
Let’s use the Fulham template…wear white away!Saving them for the rags next week.
