Congrats to Bournemouth deserved it we tried to leave it late and escape with an undeserved point some poor finishing as well ..

Long way to go. Disappointing result but not as bad a performance as people are making out. Our first defeat in almost a calendar year - it was bound to come some time and playing a top quality side with half of a broken squad was probably the most appropriate time. That last 20 mins was encouraging, though. A dozen injuries or fitness issues, the lads who aren't walking wounded are tired and overworked. Just get to January in touch with whoever the leaders are - probably Liverpool - and go from there.

Biggest takeaway for me is how much we missed Lewis when he was on the bench.

Being only 2 points behind first place is pretty good ,we have been lucky in 2-3 games alteady this season..Pep has a lot of thinking to do, defence is the worst it has been since season 1 and same goes to our pressing game

Doku as well, did more in 10 minutes than anyone else did in 90

Why did we wait 80 minutes to really have a go? Doku coming on so late was shocking - we’d have got something if he’d come on after their second

Difficult watch that. Clearly some of them far from fully fit.

At least we didn't fold. Shame we couldn't get ourselves going 10 or 15 minutes earlier, we probaly would have got something from the game.

Doku and Lewis both very good.

Just too many injuries.

All of the back four looked done in. Walker, Akanji and Aké were clearly not fully fit. Kovačić, Bernardo and Gündoğan look knackered and ineffective. Haaland look tired, he’s not sharp at all.

We were good in the last 16 minutes and showed good character but the first 80 minutes did us in.

Foden has to score at least one of the couple of great chances he had.

Felt we would struggle today and predicted a draw which we nearly got. Going to be a difficult week ahead which could be season defining.

Never looked like getting anything until Doku came on. Last 10 was how we should have approached the whole match. Too pedestrian for 80 mins. Absolute fucking terrible showing today

Expecting quite a few posts from seldom seen posters on here tonight. Ah well; I guess they have to get their jollies somewhere.

As for the game? We got what we deserved. Clueless for all but the last 10 minutes.

Poor game and the lack of energy predicted beforehand was evident for 80 minutes.

The slating lewis gets is crazy as today showed we need his energy and linking ability.

You can’t play Gundo, kova and silva as a midfield 3 sadly. Nunes, lewis or mcatee even would be immensely better as they have legs.

Walker, Gundo, KDB, Stones and Silva probably are at the end of their cycle here sadly. But all would leave as legends. We need more youthful energy and hunger next season.
