Too true. The huge effort of winning 4 is having a big negative effect, which added to the injuries has us down and on the floor. But we are not out, and may yet rise up and put in another charge for the title come Feb or March. Clearly at least a mini changing of the squad is needed but I would be reluctant to rush into big changes in January. Any criticism of Pep is somewhat unfair but I do think he needs to make up his mind if he is hanging around soon. Again fair play to the home side today, they were the better team and full value for the points. It's only one game we lost, and we are panicking here.
The day is coming when we lose the league title and win nothing Get a grip, some people on here can not take losing and point fingers and blame Pep,
Yes Injuries, Yes players are not fully fit, But you don't lose titles on a day like this you lose titles because you can not ask any more from this squad of players that have won it 4 times on the bounce and add Champions League and fa cups and you realize how lucky we have been in 5 seasons,
Nobody likes losing, but it is football and today was not our day
Last few transfers have been Tottenham level. Proper shit the bed the board have. Its gonna be one of them injury season's the type that scuppers your silverware hopes. Last few transfer windows have not been up to the usual high standards. Ageing and injury prone midfield is not helping but the calibre of replacement in that area is not good.
And it works, because our defence is soft as shit.Seems every team we play now tries the Klopp tactic of playing at a hundred miles an hour for the first 15-20 minutes to try and score then protect it and catch us on the break.
10 game unbeaten is nothing really. We’ve just done 32 unbeaten. We need to get back to our best quickly.Prob the wake up call we normally need. Wouldn't be surprised if we go on a 10 game unbeaten run!
Agreed.the reaction of some is laughable, the post Pep years when we do. a spurs, chelsea or arse and fanny about in 4th place for a few years is gonna be the death of some who have become too comfortable with us winning a lot.
I am grateful for the last 10 years, but we cannot be great all of the time, and if we ain't we can still enjoy being blues and our club.
