Bournemouth (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Shite performance and result but we’ve just gone 32 unbeaten. We had to lose at one point. Some serious doom and gloom going on in here you’d think we were losing every week. We’ll be fine.
It's these never ending injuries more than the league table.

I do harbour a certain melancolía for attending 6-0 drubbings at the Baseball ground not least in reminding me that I was young back then and could easily deal with it by going straight out on the lash. Alas those days are but a distant memory

I don’t think we’re doomed, we have the only man in the dugout I would trust to rectify it. But some decisions have been really poor and imo the board are relying on pep to paper the cracks something of which the next manager will not be able to do.
for all we know, the Board might be planning to buy in Jan. But there’s nothing they can do just now - that IS Pep’s job

They have had two years for a Rodri contingency plan. Both windows of which have gradually gotten worse.

But we have won it all NOW and broke so many records in the process, You can not win every week but losing when you have something in the bank does not feel like the end of the world

Probably get into trouble for this but where the heck was John Stones? Is he injured and if so HOW??
If he isn’t injured he should have been there on that pitch playing.
Sorry.

His feet have … done something

Apparently may not play next two games

As I keep saying - no top player would come as a Rodri back up. But now he’s out for the season they probably would - knowing that if they play well, the onus will be on Rodri to win his place back.
