You've gotta applaud his decision in not splitting up too much a winning team,however if he had been as strong a bit sooner we may not have been this far behind
 
It's certainly not 442 whatever.

its os adaptable.....in the last game it looked like we just had two at he back at times (certainly when we had the ball) ...the good thing about dihno is that he is so intelligent and able to follow what Pep wants so when we don't have the ball he was always int he right place when defending in the swansea game)

only problem i worry about here is the fast break if there is a sudden break down in midfield........kolarov is so slow he can't and doesn't recover and that leaves stones one on one sometimes with dihno busting his arse to get back.......thats why id want company there as one on one we have no one better......maybe pep is saving company for the champs league game????
 
I was hoping Fernandinho on the right was a one-off. I am sure he can play well there, but where is the defensive midfield player? That's very high risk. Hope we don't regret that.

Kompany and Aguero were marginal decisions. Bit surprised neither start, but we don't see what they are like in training
