Clichy's started six of the last seven games at left-back, so that's clearly not true.
Come on Ric. You know as much as I do that Clichy has been playing LB only because Kolarov has been playing CB. 5 out of the last 7 I think it was. Last week at West Ham Pep didn't play Kolarov at CB, and straight away he was put in as a LB with Clichy out. I wonder why. Well, I don't actually, because in a team that has so much possession the one thing you don't want is having a player like Clichy in your ranks. This is why in the 1st half our own players tried to avoid Clichy from getting the ball, while in the 2nd half Swansea was targetting the same pacy LB of ours. Not the only one, yet a very important ingredient to the way the game changed yesterday.
