Had a great chat with a couple of older Bournemouth fans ( sixties) on the bus into town after the game. They were very complimentary about us and said they always enjoy coming here in spite of usually getting hammered. They hate going to the swamp. Surprisingly they said the majority of Bournemouth fans wanted Gary O'Neil out in spite of keeping them up, because the football they played under him was awful. Their absolute hero to them is still Eddie Howe.

Not being funny I don’t know much about betting odds, but I would thought something like 66/1 or 100/1 odds for a 6-1 scoreline, 28/1 seems too short for 7 goals scored.I had 6-1 at 28-1 boom!!!

Very good first half from us and I thought Bournemouth stuck to their game plan well until Doku threaded that ball through the eye of a needle into the goal to put us ahead. Aside from that little spell in the second half, well 20 odd mins I suppose, we had control of the game.

Watched it back on City+, Kova looked better than he did watching in real time, but agreed, Gundo he ain't.Starting to like Doku so much more each game he plays :)

If Pep had come out with the bollocks that Arteta is giving it, there would have been massive fines and probably a suspension coming his way.....Well done City, first 20 minutes was underwhelming and looked a concern due to slow tempo and Bournemouth sitting so deep.

Wow doku absolutely incredible performance. We haven’t had anyone quite like him in ages, we do a lot of intricate passing and then the terminator buries them, but the ability to consistently beat players will add a new dimension to us
