Bournemouth (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Yes mate I said we were 3 nil up that day in my post; )
Ah yes sorry i get your post now

Just watched the game on you tube, moulden, morley and another by moulden. Only we could fuck that up

tickled me the commentator said a 30,000 crowd. Not checked official attendance that day but apart from an empty platt lane it was rammed, including city filling the usual empty segregated bit of the kippaxZ

Oh peter, up to your old tricks again?

Yep, it's almost like he's not happy with who he's playing with. I don't know, but something seems a bit off. Just get over the line for top 5 and fuck this season off forever.
Yep , I mentioned this a few months back.Harmony missing..Haaland not trusting his suppliers..
Just hope it can be all sorted out in The Summer.....

Very few, if any, City players have had a very good season.
Gvardiol is still a relatively new City player.
Pep has played him mostly at left back, which was probably a big test for him. I think he has played well there.
But to me, he is a left-sided centre back.
Also, his goals were crucial during that period when he was our second highest goalscorer.
If not Josko, who should get City's player of the season ?
Would not award one this year in all honesty.

Err, no one.

Who would be proud of that title anyway?

Nostalgia....Lets get Nervous all over Again !

Taking the emotion out of the game, there were a lot of players who are done for the season. As PB said, inexplicable attempted passes poorly executed. Josko shouldn't be dicked around between fullback and centre half, Manu still looks rusty (Nunes bailed him out a couple of times), Erling was ... not Erling and even Marmoush desperately needs to be taught how to hold up the ball and strength in possession.

It was an end of season performance, but sadly it's not the end of the season by a long way.
You are entitled to your opinion, even thought it’s wrong.

Prior to the game I did. Not during it. Even after the sending off, I was confident we'd win.
Err...that was basically my point.
Half tine against Bournemouth may 1989 nobody thought anything could go wrong
Last night at half time i had the flashback when I should have been confident...

And folk saying Bournemouth were in holiday mode ...well that wasn't my perception, admittingly only watching in a pub..but comments posted on here about their midfield player Cook being in the refs ear whole game from the first minute ,Cooks over enthusiastic challenge leading to the red card ,the at times ,brilliant attacking play ,great accurate crosses and adroit defending by their wide right midfielder......all say to me that Bournemouth were well up for that game last night.
Imo

Official crowd was 33, 500. Looked about 40,000 to me.

As a defender, Gvadol must first be able to defend shooting or crossing, or at least be able to not pass the ball to the oponent in our half while out of position himself. The goals he scored will be score by other players. He scored the goals because he was allowed to be there to shoot. His overall ability doesn’t support him to become a midfielder or wing player like Bale.

I remember that day that it was the most manipulated crows figure I'd ever seen at Maine Road. It was full to capacity.

Yes when we got our red. And people on here are touting Gvardiol as player of the season, he is a disaster waiting to happen every game.
Especially when he plays at full back. It’s unfathomable how both him and Nunes can continue to make the same mistake, over and over again.
It’s especially galling with Nunes as I thought he’d done ok since his shocker against the rags but seemingly not.
You also know they’d have both played those passes at 0-0 as well…

If you were watching in a pub your view is compromised because you don't get any idea of the intensity of the game. Bournemouth are renowned for a high pressing game. That was absent yesterday.
