Bournemouth (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

There’s still a lot to work on, but over the season you can really see the progression in partnerships, where the players no where to be and where to move to make the space. It’s great to win by a decent score against a decent team, but even better to see the team progressing for the future.

Like.

Haven’t seen any “Are City better without Haaland?” clickbaits recently. Shocking, I know.

Well done you beautiful blue boys! We seem to be clicking at the right time in the season.

What a difference it makes having one creative player with spatial awareness and accurate weighted passes to the Norse beast.

It’s also time for others to step up and get on the scoresheet as NOR has done today. Otherwise Burnley defender Maxine Estevé might end the season as our second best goal scorer.
The blue shark cometh.

I still think there's a player in there, but even tolerable old me is losing patience with Savinho. Just doesn't seem to have the football brain you need at this level. But having said that, if he plays a blinder against the Dippers and bags the winner, it could be the making of him.
I'd agree there. He's not helping himself and today he was awful. He bags a winner v the Dippers then all will be forgiven.

Great win and Bournemouth looked a very good outfit and moved the ball so fast from back to front.

I liked the setup today, Doku inside and using the fullbacks as runners worked so well. Foden in the number 10 role is the way forward with Cherki roaming the park, Haaland is just about the best striker that football has ever produced and is a City blue to the core.

I am going to rewatch the game and try and pick out the bones from the game before giving MOTM

Also, the referee was so against us today that it felt like that Chelsea home game when Iam Cheeseman got the sack from the BBC, Shocking and he must have been under orders not to give us anything ? Maybe the 115 charges are close, if going by Taylor's performance, City have won that fight as well

Important three points against a tough team to beat. Some nice football from both teams. Haaland with two lovely goals, we should really have gone in 4-1.
A good all round team performance. At times over the last few weeks you think we are starting to gel and developed a good team spirit. Really need to find a settled team and keep everyone injury free.

That was really fun. Cherki and haaland are gonna be so good to watch. nico g once again superb too! Not forgetting nunes, he had an excellent game up against a brilliant player

Great 3 pts against a very good Bournemouth side . Massive credit to them for having the confidence and belief to take City on which rewarded us with a very open game to enjoy.
Lots for Pep to work with now and lots of options . Only downside today Savinho again it is getting embarrassing.
Big games ahead we are starting to look good with strength in depth and options
