Quality throughout from this amazing team of champions. The Haaland factor has definitely kicked in. Kev take a bow and Bernardo please stay we don’t want you to leave.

Could only follow on radio but it sounded like they played the game brilliantly, killed off in the first 30 minutes or so, then played it like a training session in the heat. A shame Haaland or Alvarez didn’t get goals, but Haaland made an assist and stretch the defence to allow others to prosper.

Apologies if Ive missed something but I was under the impression you could substitute 5 players but only at 3 separate occasions , we did it in 4
Halftime doesn't count. Grealish came on at halftime.

Well played today City. At one point, round about 10 mins or so from the end when we were just passing it back and to the side a bit I was shouting 'pass it forward and move'. After the game when I got out of the stadium from my shaded seat in CB3 the heat wall hit me. I realised how hard it must have been to keep that standard of play and effort up throughout the whole game. Round of applause to all on the pitch.

Great display. It’s going to take time for us to use Haaland correctly. Jack was excellent when he came on and the ref was a twat. How many digs after the ball had gone did he allow? How Smith did not have more than 1 yellow and how that “tackle” was not a red after Var I don’t know. People will say none of this matters but constantly being kicked will take its toll over a season and we need to be protected more
Merlin had the shit kicked out of him in the first 15 mins no card shown , Zabba gets one wrong 20 mins in , nailed on most weeks.
Jack got them all day at Villa guess that blue shirt makes him a cheat now, hey f**king ho !

Thought Kev, Gundogan and Ake played very well indeed today. Grealish was kicked and pushed and nudged in the back non stop and the shenanigans at the end were entirely the result of the refs inability to brandish the yellow card to Smith after his foul on Grealish which left him free to up end Cancelo. Overall thought we moved the ball well, were patient and completely controlled the game. long may it continue. Haaland's time will come at the Etihad.
