I am surprised that Marmoush's goal has not received more acclaim. A great first touch, the second touch a shot so hard we did not even see it coming. A goal of conviction. Marmoush now has to start, but where?

Foden is not producing in the central position so I would play him on the right where he has been a goal threat for us in the past. Cherki central and Marmoush on the left again for the goal threat. We need players with end product to take the burden off Haaland.

Yeah hoped for more from Phil in a central role - hasn't happened for him yet but maybe we should persist as he has the tools

Im personally more interested in us winning the league than the champions league. We aren’t going to win the champions league this season so imo, obviously try our best in it but there are quite a few teams better than us so im meh about it this season

You would think signing Nouri and playing Nunes on the right that it would be more natural for us to play 3 at the back, do what you are suggesting and bench the wingers,

I certainly wouldn’t start Marmoush. Especially if we do start with Cherki.

Marmoush was like a dog chasing a balloon against Swansea. He was very poor in my opinion. Doku is by far the better option right now.
