Bournemouth tickets on sale from Wednesday 1st February

Putting 85% of the allocation onsale to loyalty point holders is the way forward.
Loyalty should be rewarded instead it seems to be frowned upon by the clubs hierarchy.
Stop being sensible, what would the corporate clients say if they can have 20 tickets for a home game against Notts Forest but can get two for some clients for an away game which they pass on to keep someone sweet. How very dare you!!

Anyone on 27k managed to buy one
I’ve more than that says I’m not eligible
17 mins on the phone so far

Pointless even hoping. Should be a ballot. I appreciate the fact that people have supported the club for years and years but no one has a Devine right to get a ticket. Hardly fair when the same supporters can just snap them up every away game.
Why?

A ballot stops mates who have been going together for years going

All those shouting for a ballot, what next when you don't get one that way either

I would also suggest a ballot would make it easier for the club to syphon more off for the newcomers with money to burn we seem to be attracting from all over the globe

I knew it would be difficult so fucked it off, booked a holiday in Portugal instead. My son can use mine.

The rags do a ballot but I know some who somehow manage to secure tickets for any away game they want, odd that. Loyalty points system was fine until someone at the club decided to reduce the number of tickets available for these fans and give them to their 'new fans' who have copious amounts of money. That and scrapping the points system for away games. Pretty sure people said scrapping the points for away games would stop points whores but those numbers were so few and far between that it was just a red herring. 80% of more of away tickets should be sold via the points system and points should be re-instated for away games but on a sliding scale. More points should be given for a Bournemouth away trip with no trains back after the game or a midweek game at Southampton than a 12.30 at Anfield.

Unfortunately you reap what you sow.
Many on here wanted change and lobbied the City matters group to push the club to change the system.
Unbeknown to many the club already wanted to do this but were scared of the kick back from the points holders.
All you have achieved, is that we now get less tickets per match and by scrapping the loyalty points, you will never catch up with the people who already have the points until they die or stop going.
What you have done,is to allow the corporate and overseas customer to take approx 750 tickets out of the normal 3000 away allocation.
And it will get worse for us all,if you pursue the ballot route

Very true.

One step forward with the 18-25 tickets, two steps back with fewer tickets going to points and returns disappearing too. I think we have to live with the current system.

As I’ve posted before, City Matters were on a hiding to nothing once away tickets were made the group’s first priority. I know Colin and co did lots of good & tireless case work so I’m not dismissing City Matters’ wider contribution.
