Bournemouth v City post match

Was well pleased with that.

Merlin was my MotM. Sane superb. And what crucial contributions from Sterling.

Great save from Willy on 20 minutes. His distribution was excellent tonight too.

Stones looks like he has taken the criticism on board and got a big hug from Pep at the end.

Sterling is becoming an absolutely key player for us in terms of goals and assists. Some said he didn't have end product. He is also under-appreciated defensively. I sit on the touchline, and one of things that perspective gives you is how intense the game is. You see the quick feet and aggression of the players and Sterling's tenacity stands out. People think he is soft, but he isn't. he really works hard. last season when our game was in a bit of disarray he was one of the few players who would press the ball whilst the rest just stood off the opposition

Yeah I know, once he does he'll be unstoppable.
Just watched the highlights. Sane came very close to scoring. He's got a goal threat to his game which is vital for a wide forward. Both our wingers are scoring now as well as creating. that aspect of our game has improved this season

Yeah, only thing stopping raheem from being world class is his shooting. His movement is up there with the best I've ever seen.

yup...much more testing games to come
@Ric If that was in fact the reasoning behind his statement than I wouldn't think it was ludicrous. But my point was that he is just saying like a man wearing a blindfold throwing darts at the board. It isn't said as a well-considered, evidenced prediction—it is said from a dislike of City with the general cover all pundits know they have these days (that is, they can say whatever they like and, apart from on these "lesser" forums and the lowly voids of social media, they will not be held accountable for any of their prognostications.

If we come in second, just missing out on the title by one point after an exceptional run of nearly all dominant wins, he will say he knew all along we had it in us and that Pep just needed time (and we are his favourites for next season).

Silva, Sane, Sterling, Fernandinho and Kolorov all outstanding. Really disappointed to see Jesus go off, looked like he was ready to have a big game. Willy also did everything asked of him and some great distribution.

De Bruyne was quiet, but was nice to see Sergio shaking off some of the ring rust.

Great performance. Really unlucky to only score 2. Our front three is incredible. So hard to defend with both wingers staying so wide - pulled Bournemouth all over the place.

Good performance, good result and good luck to oppositions especially away from home if we continue with this approach as they will need it.

Hopefully we continue to get results from here on in.
