Boyata has got the physical attributes and technical ability to be a good squad player . He would seem to have a bit of the Stevie lreland complex about him whereby he lacks the mental strength and inherent confidence that is needed at this level .
Therefore he needs to be encouraged and nurtured and not slagged off and criticised at every opportunity .
Had a good solid game tonight and l believe he could potentially overtake Micah as we can at least get him on the pitch regularly .

I agree with der bomber . He does look a solid player . I thought Blackburn made him look more poor than West Ham did tonight .

Was quality tonight, great running great passing and link up play! Would keep him for our 25 man squad for as long as he is happy to be a cup player, as he will be on lower wages than most and is a home grown acadamy product! Get a contract extension signed!

Agree with that apart from the overtaking Micah bit.As a full back ( which I know he isn't) he will never have real attacking skills.
