Thats Patrick McDonnell he latter stared in Naked Camera on rte which was worth a look. Not seen his stand up but it was a hit over here with PJ Gallagher and Maeve Higgins. They only done 2 series of them because people knew too much of them and they couldnt get away with another series.

The other half went to watch the shows in town and thought they were great. She enjoyed last weeks but said last nights show wasn't half as good.

I just didn't find that funny at all. Sorry.

I quite like some of the Balls of Steel (except that twat in the cowboy hat - I really would like him to try one of his tricks on a real hard case who just kicked the shit out of him) ones but that didn't do it for me.

To be honest most of naked camera is more around Pj Gallagher and Maeve Higgins trying to find something with Patrick McDonnell was hard.

Saying that for the bbc they took the wrong series from over here there has been a number of better comedys over here that would of been better than Mrs Browns Boys. Anonymous were they dress up celebs to go out and prank other celebs or the public with Jason Byrne is always worth a look. Same with Naked Camera it could well take off. The Savage Eye is worth a look at as well.

Watched the first three episodes on iplayer last night, thought it was brilliant. Great characters and funny storylines. Grandad temperature reading had me in stitches! Gonna watch episode 4/5 tonight.
