Bradford City Fire 30th Anniversary - 1 minute silence

I think the tragedies of the 80's helped bring us to where we are today. The quality of the duty of care to the fans and the way the stadiums are managed is on a totally different level to 30 years ago.
I have seen the video footage from Bradford Fire a couple of times at H&S training courses. It's astounding the way the fans behaved at the start of the tragedy before they realised what was going to unfold. We as fans have changed our behaviour in keeping with the changes made by the authorities. They treated us like animals back then and a lot fans behaved accordingly.
I too will observe a tribute to the 56 people who died in the Bradford fire. In my eyes their deaths indirectly led to me being able to attend matches home or away with my kids and it be a safe and pleasurable experience. R.I.P.
