Bradford City thread

I actually wanted him to do well he came across as a sound guy but how many have we had over the years. Graham Alexandra must have had the weight of the world on his shoulders over the last few weeks so over the moon for him.
A nice steady midtable next season will do but i can feel that some of our fanbase are alrwady eyeing up the championship be amazing if it happened but i dont think we are ready yet for that jump.
I agree.

A nice steady season of consolidation and mid-table obscurity is exactly what you need.

Then, the season after, a big, strong push for the Championship.

Wow wow wow deffo our Augero moment never looked like scoring until injury time when we missd two sitters ............but the ending the chaos in the two centre after the game makes up for years of dross

And god bless you all for the kind words i knew there was a reason i liked you lot ;)
Absolutely made up for you @Bantamgaz and all Bantams. What a moment! So very happy, ecstatic, mental! Look forward to seeing them next season.

Funnily enough I managed to get tickets for today’s game. Was some atmosphere before the game and walking to the ground from the centre.

Great club with great fans and people. When that goal went in it was absolute bedlam. Just football at its best.

It's a wonderful club. I'd promised to take the lad there and we went to Bradford City v Crewe - 17 quid for the two of us. Wasn't the best performance, bit nervy, but the Bantams won and the atmosphere was great even if it was tense. We will definitely go back.

Glad they won and got promoted, just about forgiven them for fielding a weakened side against Portsmouth in 1998, just, not forgiven those cunts at Huddersfield for doing the same against Port Vale on the same day :)

I was going to go at some point this season, with my old partner, but things - usually City games - got in the way.

I’ve promised him I will go along to a game next season.

I wonder when they’ll be playing Exeter or Argyle.

Don't know if anyone watched Morning Live this morning, had Chris Kamara doing a feature on Bradford's fan choir, also remembering the victims of Valley Parade. May 1985 was a proper shit time for football.

Anyway I didn't realise Kammie had health problems, but the pride he had singing with fans of a club he'd played for and managed, very special. His speech was slower but it was the same irrepressible spirit that he'd always had. The choir at half time with him and Lesley Garrett, brilliant, last minute winner, priceless.

Just emotional thinking about it. Well done the Bantams.

Dont think it was weakened i think in a nutshell we had downed tools well before that game.

Amid all the furore over the racism incident at Klanfield, this has received much less attention in the national media, but is no less shocking:

I went as a neural to the game last Saturday against Luton, what a fantastic set up they have there, a real community based club, brilliant for kids, a supporters hub, good numbers and vocal backing and a pleasant suprise a decent number of the local asian population there, i'll be back.

I went to tonight’s game. Game of two halves.
Bradford keeper kept it to only one goal after numerous chances. Most one sided half I have seen in a long while.

Second half was all Bradford and got two goals.

Great start for the Bantams in the third tier.

Fourth (joint second) on goal difference after four games and no defeats. Long way to go, but let’s hope they keep it up.

I’m hoping to go along for at least one game this season, with my former partner at Royal Mail.

God knows what he said at halftime but it changed the game big time ............very early days yet but we are looking like we can more than hold our own at this level.

Excellent win on Saturday.

I bet you would have taken this start to the season, if you’d been offered it in July.

Only one defeat and second in the table, albeit having played a game more than some of those around you.
Its a brilliant start but if we continue is another thing ...........would have settled for staying in this league but we do actually look like we can hold our own.
