Bradford City thread

I saw a Bradford fan this morning, and complimented him on the start they have made to the season.

I mentioned that I’m a City supporter, and he came out with, "You just buy your trophies".

I asked, "Would you turn down an owner like Sheikh Mansour?"

"No," he admitted.

"Well, there you are, then."

Same as every football team ever!

Probably a plastic

I’d settle for a Bradford and Lincoln 1-2.
Or even more preferably a Lincoln and Bradford 1-2.

My Lincoln mates and I were so close to going to that fateful day at Valley Parade 40 years ago. Nobody wanted to go to the Charlton match with me unfortunately.

The Bantams are still very much in the fight for an automatic promotion place.

They’re currently third, four points behind leaders Cardiff, having played the same number of games, and one point behind Lincoln, who have played one game more.

Wouldn’t it be fitting, if the two clubs forever closely entwined by the tragic events of 11th May 1985 at Valley Parade, were to gain automatic promotion in this the 40th anniversary year of the fire?

I support Lincoln, and we would love it, however I think the Imps will fall just short. We lack a bit of firepower that the other teams seem to possess, but we are well organised this year and hard to beat on the whole.
