I think we should loan him now.

He is not going to play more than 200 minutes with us this season.

Loan him to Breda where he will play every week.

I don`t understand why he is not getting more playtime. He looks impressive every time he plays for us. If we give him some games now, he could be Sane`s backup next season, and that would save us millions in the summer

You're right, probably best he never steps foot on a football pitch in case he gets hurt.
Pep was clearly fuming with the officials today because Cardiff were deliberately trying to injure our players. Pep probably thought that against such a dirty and physical team Diaz would have little effect, so he only put him on when the game was won

He needs to play games now sane is out and he surely will. We have 2 senior forwards, 3 if you count Bernie. Diaz will start against one of west brom or burnley imo

I think there was a reason for Pep to be patient with our kids.
Foden got caught by Maguire's physicality and Pep simply wants to protect the lads.
This situation doesn't change by Jesus' and Sane's injury.

I think Pep will find some other solutions within our senior squad, but giving Diaz at least some minutes.

Disappointed in Pep on this one. He should have gotten at least 30 minutes. Frankly, he should have been the Sane sub :(

I highly doubt he'll start any of those games. Bernardo and Sterling will start against WBA and if they for some reason can't play against Burnley he'd probably play KDB on the wing or go 3-5-2 with Zinchenko and Walker as wing backs (pretty likely if we get Laporte).

He would have had more game time had we scored (been allowed to have) a third goal. Guardiola's reaction, and that of the bench, is completely different whenever we go three clear. They clearly see that as the breathing space needed and the opportunity to blood players. It might be conservative, but that would appear to be the general policy, and against a team that was intent on man marking and 'devilment', it's probably a wise one.
