Must be frustrating when you train with the first team and get no game time at any level! Why don’t City pick them for the u23 at least, so they actually playing some games Diaz has hardly any game time and you can see why he is itching to go! If your young and love playing football you will get frustrated it’s why Pep was going on about a B team, we should treat the u23 as our B team and play players who are not getting game time.

The other common factor with Sancho and Diaz is the reluctance to sign a new deal i think if Diaz started to talk constructively about a new deal opportunities would open up.

but the strength of this squad at the moment and the average age being so young at around 23 or so and in key areas then both sancho and diaz would have to be special to get in this squad and take a place, yes both are good and talented but are still so young and that is what the media don't see or wan't to understand, how many of the top clubs are playing 17/18 years old's right now and good enough to start ????

Was following him since he was 14 and was waiting for him to be 1st team player for City, but it wasn't meant to be.

Even had he been given games you could not blame him if he decided to go back to his home country and given himself the opportunity to play for Real Madrid.
