I’ve got absolutely no idea how anyone can objectively judge Brahim’s appearances for us so far. He’s made 5 brief sub appearances in the league and this season has only made three appearances, all in the league cup and all 5/6 weeks apart. He hasn’t been afforded the chance to get fully match fit or play himself into any sort of form. I’ve absolutely no doubt that if he’d been given Mahrez’s minutes this season he would have improved drastically however.

You would have been prepared to drop one of our players to let Diaz play? Who would you have dropped? Mahrez? Diaz is nowhere near his standard. Don't think you would have lasted very long as manager.

After 18 months with pep he has still not developed much,i don't see what the fuss is about

Sadly I have to agree, he looked a real prospect 4 or 5 years ago along with Foden and Will Patching. Patching has moved on as he just stopped developing full stop and Brahim hasn't really improved much as he's still running head down into blind alleys and bodies. Foden has developed and deservedly has been given game time and and what looks like a permanent spot in the match day squad.

You are assuming he will play well,if you had kept and eye on him you would know that even after 18mths with pep he is not much better,if he was he would be played more,i can see this kid v mahrez is your obsession,carry on but remember mahrez recently won the league and was player of the year,in 4 mths he has 7 goals and 6 assists,to compare them is a joke

He has been here 4 mths,some of our top players took a season to adjust to pep and they were playing attacking football before he came,7 goals and 6 assists whilst settling in and learning a different style is more than ok,no more reaction from me as that's all you are getting from pitting a kid against a league winner

It was a question about Mahrez Karen. Ok the wrong thread I accept. So you think he has been value for money so far. Fair enough. I dissagree.

Honestly think he's very lucky to get the offer from a massive club... as much as I'm eager to see our youth advance... Even before he was linked to a move I had not seen the progress needed to secure a long term place in this squad. Good luck to him maybe the cash coming in will be an excuse to buy in the window after all.

You’re literally judging him on three league cup games spread over 3 months, and in each game he hadnt played any football for weeks beforehand. So he’s coming into a team cold, and not fully match fit either. An absolutely insane way of judging a player.

He couldn't have been any worse than Mahrez was against Palace. He was pretty awful.
