Honestly think he's very lucky to get the offer from a massive club... as much as I'm eager to see our youth advance... Even before he was linked to a move I had not seen the progress needed to secure a long term place in this squad. Good luck to him maybe the cash coming in will be an excuse to buy in the window after all.

We have experts who watch his every move , and know that he is a better option than some of our first team players.

You should accept it .

Sad to see him go but 15 million for a player with 6 months left on their contract isn't bad if true.

Accept that he's moving on or accept he apparently hasn't done enough to warrant more playing time?

I don't know enough about him to make any comment.

I was alluding to others on here who are criticising the fact that he hasn't played much for us, and
seem to " know " that he is better than some of our first team players who are getting game time.

If RM think he is worth paying money for I have to accept that somebody in their scouting team think he is worth paying for.

I'm in the camp of being slightly disappointed but not overly arsed about this. He is a talented lad, but I wonder if he will always be one of those who runs down blind alleys, waits too long to pass, etc.

The difference between him and Foden is night and day for me. The same goes for Sancho who seems to have a superb awareness of space. Dribbling is exciting but far from the be all and end all

Not seen the progress” to be fair he’s barely played at all. It’s not exactly like he’s had the chance to show he’s good enough. Madrid seem to think he’s good enough though

I think it's unfair to compare Diaz to Foden or Sancho this season. Like for like, when they were all in youth football, Diaz was slightly ahead of both of them in overall quality, to my eyes whenever I tuned in to watch a game. He's not had the same integration into senior football to adjust to it and grow into it yet, so naturally Phil and Jadon will look more comfortable when out on a senior pro pitch.

If they really have promised him more game time than we have, then I hope for his sake they deliver on their promises. I think Pep would begin to ease Brahim into more games, like the way he has been with Phil for the first half of the season, doing two at once would affect the team too much is perhaps a reason for it.

Maybe Brahim sees that as too little too late though?
