I think the best thing to do to not let the bastards win is to travel on an official club trip. Having said that, my boss did that a couple of seasons back for the Rags' infamous match in Rome, and despite not seeing any trouble the night before and the day of the game the police ended up indiscriminately twatting Rags inside the ground. So if their fans don't turn you over, there's a chance the Old Bill might!

Remember when West Ham (I think) went to Sicily? That sounded absolutely mental. Loads of stabbings and even normal housewives were apparently pouring pots of boiling water out of windows onto the cockneys below.
uefa got the warning signs earlier this season....in fact, fuck that, they had the warning signs for the past few seasons....especially when the police basterdised the rags inside the stadium!
platini needs a large, clown size shoe boot from uefa for allowing the final to be there....and the italian team/league really needs to be punished for never putting a stop to this.
