Breaking news (according to Mickey Francis)

One can perhaps assume that TV cameras have been seen outside the ground, sparking 'breaking news' rumours.

Probably to do a John Bond tribute.

***BREAKING NEWS***

Today, Manchester City are delighted to agree a new sponsorship, with Molson Coors the company behind the alcoholic lemonade brand 'HOOCH'. The Citizens are delighted to welcome the Drinks giants to the fold, increasing the manchester club's global brand.

A club spokesperson said this morning, "we always welcome new partners at the club", and in a shocking statement he went on to say, "We are also looking inwardly, to the immediate area, not just reaching far away shores". "We shall be supporting local businesses, by re-launching the alcopop in the eastlands and manchester bars, across the road."

The news is that Marwood in his frantic last minute transfer dealings mistakenly bought a popular Italian confectionery for around 20 million quid. Where he thought he was buying the Italian midfielder Coretto, he in fact bought a Cornetto. The most expensive singular ice cream purchase in the club's history, it was said to have been unwittingly eaten by a youth team player shortly after arrival on transfer deadline day. This story came from the Sun.

Rumour has it we are trying to save money and only offered 99 quid for Cornetto !

Weve got history for this type of debacle...look at the signing of Curly Wurly

And Sven thought, pre-dating Mancini by a good few seasons, that he was buying a top class Italian bicycle, and Rolando Bianchi turned up.
