The last light has been on the blink for about 2 seasons. For a couple of grand the club can pay to for a cherrypicker and fit new new bulbs.
Thought I heard a few years back that the lights are so high and inaccessible that to hire a suitable crane costs an absolute fortune, which is why we've never fixed the broken ones. Ridiculous bit of design if true.

No mate, they aren't that expensive to hire for half a day. Bollocks. You're right. The lights have just come on and it's still going. FFS got all excited there.
That just caps a shit week at City. Can accept losing the derby and any prospect of the title but having those lights out on the stadium is too much... I think Khaldoon needs to go. Not good enough.
