Breaking records/stats thread

Oh for sure, I checked and we've only had 14 chances to do it in the 5 years Pep's been here.

20/21 - Spurs (a)
20/21 - West Ham (a) - Draw
19/20 - Southampton (a)
19/20 - Chelsea (a)
19/20 - United (a)
19/20 - Liverpool (a)
19/20 - Norwich (a)
18/19 - Chelsea (a)
16/17 - Middlesborough (a) - Draw
16/17 - Chelsea (a)
16/17 - Everton (a)
16/17 - Liverpool (a)
16/17 - Leicester (a)
16/17 - Spurs (a)

Still a bit mad than we've done it in back to back knockout games v Dortmund and PSG.
Typical City.....

And the age old, losing away at half time stat.

Only managed it once in the league in the last 105 attempts but done it in back to back Champions League away games in the Quarter and Semi Finals. Certainly sounds like a City stat.

Remember that game well. A little evening jaunt up into Lancashire, an ex-player scoring against us, and the joy of fighting back to beat the Champions-elect, but the worry it might have let the rags in.

  • City have equalled the English top-flight record for consecutive away wins, 11 - Chelsea (Apr-Dec 2008) and Manchester City (May-Dec 2017)

  • We have now scored 700 goals in all competitions under Pep Guardiola, 157 more than any other Premier League side since he took over in 2016.

Me too. I was in the home Directors box and was only 14 and went mental but was too young for anyone to beat me up. Happy memories. Was it 3-2 or am I pulling that score line out of my arse?
