Well, he's already won 3 out of 3 in December and the only other manager on that is Puel. In some ways I hope Puel wins the December MOM as it will mean they've beaten United.

We'd need 4 wins and a draw from Spurs, Bournemouth and Watford at home and Newcastle and Palace away. It's doable.

I'm guessing he's on about the 2004/05 season. But Chelsea reached 61 points after 24 games, not 22 (if my maths is correct);

I've not checked myself but if they had it after 22 games their start would have been as good as ours is currently.

05/06 season, but their start up to now wasn't as good as they dropped 5 points in the first 12 games, before winning the next 10 in a row.

I was noseying on ragcafe and clocked that stat. I should of known it was wrong.
