The fact that we have almost managed to immediately replicate the best season English football has ever seen is not getting enough recognition.
And never will be.

Yes, so much easier to concentrate on the empty seat problems. And never will be.
Averaging 99 points. Premier leagues have been won with less than 80 points in the past. The bar has been raised, er, "massively" by us. If we do go on to win the thing, and I was a dipper (God forbid), I'd be gutted to finish 2nd on (potentially) 97 points.Potentially 198 points over two seasons.

Aaahh but we’re not a great team as we haven’t won back to back titles, even though no team in PL history has amassed that amount of points in two consecutive seasons.Potentially 198 points over two seasons.
Yesterday's win put us on 186 points over the last two seasons, with 4 games to play.Just looking at a few of the records we broke last season and how we compare this season with four games left.
2017/18
Points 100
Wins 32
Consecutive wins 18
Goals 106
Goal difference +79
2018/19
Points 86 (98)
Wins 28 (32)
Consecutive wins 10 (14)
Goals 87
Goal difference +65
If we were to win our 4 remaining games, we would've only fell short of last season's points tally by 2 points, equalled the amount of wins we recorded, equalled the 2nd highest tally of consecutive wins (14 - Arsenal, 2002) and probably won't be that far off scoring 100 goals again meaning our goal difference won't be that far off last season's either.

That's why we need to win it this season.Aaahh but we’re not a great team as we haven’t won back to back titles, even though no team in PL history has amassed that amount of points in two consecutive seasons.
The undisputed greatest team of all time in any country ever since football began, the 98/99 treble winners, won the league with 79 points.United have won a league title with 75 points before.
"City need to break the record for points accumulated in 3 consecutive seasons to be considered a great team."Yesterday's win put us on 186 points over the last two seasons, with 4 games to play.
The record for points accumulated in 2 consecutive seasons was held by Chelsea (2004/05-2005/06) with, wait for it, 186.
So it's a shared record right now and we'll almost certainly break it.
42 games to get 84 points then so :)"City need to break the record for points accumulated in 3 consecutive seasons to be considered a great team."
I don't think there will be much of a drop-off next season so we'll comfortably do that, which as I've learned from RAWK today, will confirm that Pep has the players on drugs.42 games to get 84 points then so :)
You have to love RAWK. If our players are on drugs, with heavy rotation and loads of injuries, what are their 14 man squad on?I don't think there will be much of a drop-off next season so we'll comfortably do that, which as I've learned from RAWK today, will confirm that Pep has the players on drugs.

10k a week. They all took substantial pay cuts to have the honour of playing for the mighty Liverpool. You have to love RAWK. If our players are on drugs, with heavy rotation and loads of injuries, what are their 14 man squad on?
New records:That’s the goals in a season record I think
What a team.New records:
157 goals in all competitions by an English club.
189 points in 2 consecutive seasons by an English club.
Both with the caveat 'and counting...'.
