What a way for us to celebrate!!Mine too on 12th!!
What a way for us to celebrate!!Mine too on 12th!!
Quite a few March birthdays on here, it seems—mine is the 7th and the missus has apparently planned a great day out, finishing with the Basel home match (including some mystery club hospitality before and after).Sky are bastards of that there is no doubt, however 12 March is my birthday so that would be the best present ever.
Those were my calculations, as well—with how all below us are struggling with consistency it’s not outside the realm of possibility, however improbable.Possible but unlikely.
City have to win all 5 matches up to and including Stoke while at the same time:
rags lose 3 of their 5 games
Chelsea and Liverpool each lose 2 of their 5
Spurs lose 1 and draw 1 of their 5.
I've assumed that our goal difference is unassailable.
I do agree that Sky are bastards as my intended trip to Stoke may also be scuppered by the fixture change.
Cardiff's record attendance is 57, 893 v Arsenal in 1953.breaking cardiff attendance record can be added to the list.
come over their tannoy,so i'm guessing new stadium, rebuilt stadium or since football started in 1992.Cardiff's record attendance is 57, 893 v Arsenal in 1953.
That would be at their old ground Ninian Parkcome over their tannoy,so i'm guessing new stadium, rebuilt stadium or since football started in 1992.
Yep, first player to score 4+ goals in 3 separate PL games and extended our top scorer record to 197.Didn't Sergio set another two records yesterday?
We're on +59 for goal difference.Goal difference record is 72. Not checked but think we on 57?
Most wins in a prem season is 30 - we need 7 more to equal.
Most points in a prem season by us 89. We need 17 more.
Only the dippers have scored more goals (2) than our goal difference. We're on +59 for goal difference.
Kev now has 14 assists, the record, held by Terry Henry, is 20. This would be a fitting one to break, 7 more to break it in 11 games?
Hard to say becuase when Sterling and Sané are on the wings, Kev doesn't tend to get as many assists - he often plays the ball before the assist, and with Silva around, he often drops deeper. With Silva and Sané out though, he's taken it upon himself to make the final pass and he's racked up 4 assists in 2 games.
Whether he breaks the record probably depends on if those 2 miss many more games.
Might be but his corners and free kicks (when not shooting ) are the worst parts of his game. That's fair analysis. Of course it might be easier for him if we scored from some corners now and again..
and a third for him scored in all the last 7 home games.Yep, first player to score 4+ goals in 3 separate PL games and extended our top scorer record to 197.
Yeah he's got something like 13 or 14 in the last 7 home games. Past it :)and a third for him scored in all the last 7 home games.
