Breaking records/stats thread

  • We have won 13 consecutive matches in all competitions. The English Football League record is 14.
  • The run of 13 wins in all competitions is the longest winning run by a Premier League side since Arsenal between March-August 2002 (also 13).
  • We have now kept 6 consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League for the first time since October 2018 and for just the third time in the Premier League era overall.
  • We have conceded just 2 goals in our last 13 league matches.
  • Gabriel Jesus has now scored 75 goals for City in all competitions, overtaking the amount Carlos Tevez scored for the club (74).

"He made two goals and scored a sensational fourth as City put down a marker and confirmed their status as the team to beat in the title race. It was also a 14th straight win, which equals the all-time winning run by an English top-flight team, shared with Preston in 1892 and Arsenal in 1987."

They're starting to cotton on!

Beat me to it - great record to equal, hopefully we can own it outright with a win on Wednesday
 
Surely today was the quickest any team has ever got to 200 wins under a manager as well?

Didn’t LiVARpool match our 18 consecutive wins last season? Super confused if someone can clarify please. If our 18 straight doesn’t count because we won a cup tie on penalties aren’t the holders LiVARpool on 18?

Think that’s just league games mate, the 14 is all comps

That's league only. Dippers were busy sacking off the cups during that run.
