Brendan Rodgers - How good is he?

Like him or not, he is one of a few British managers nowadays who is able to make players better with some good football to show for. Also credit to Leicester for being able to replace what were very good players to them.

At Liverpool he overestimated himself. Prime example thinking he could control and improve Balotelli. Scotland sobered him up in a good way.

Good manager with a certain profile of player whose playing style means his teams tend to blow up towards the end of the season. A lot like Pochetinno in that respect

He had Swansea playing excellent football to be fair. I remember when we lost to them at their place in 2012 they were passing it around like Barcelona.

Decent manager but I wouldn’t buy a second hand car off him.
First thing he did when he got the Liverpool gig was to get himself some new teeth, a new hair colour and then a new bird as he started shagging the receptionist and binned his missus off.
Then of course there was the infamous giant portrait of himself he had commissioned for his home.
He is a walking mid life crisis cliche, the David Brent of football.
Decent coach though

He's very decent, but perhaps not as good as he personally thinks.

I wouldn't have an issue if City looked at him again, having offered him the Mancini assistant manager role, but think he is also reaping the benefit of the work done previously at Leicester, coupled with decent youth system.

They've had decent building blocks for a while and getting £60m for Mahrez and £85m for Maguire, certainly helps when laughing all the way to the bank.

His major failing with us was his inability to make a decent defence. He signed some of the worst defenders I've endured. We have taken that philosophy to the absolute limit with Duffy this season. After Pep and Klopp I would say he's next. If he does end up at City, don't let him buy defenders.

Good scouting and recruitment at Leicester. Maddison, Soyuncu, Tielemans, Perreira, Fofana, Ndidi are all worth a lot more than they paid for them
